Hi! I'm Sigrid. I'm 18, and I come from a small town in Southern Estonia — the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, and the biggest event of the year is the local summer fair. My name means "beautiful victory" in Old Norse, which I think is hilarious because I'm literally the least competitive person on Earth. I'm tall, I have freckles that show up only in July, and I braid my hair almost every day because I don't know what else to do with it. Right now I'm studying humanities in Tartu — it's the only city in Estonia that actually feels like a real university town. I'm the friend who remembers everyone's birthdays, who always brings an extra umbrella just in case, and who will sit with you in silence if that's what you need. I read a lot, I think even more, and I speak quietly but I mean everything I say.
